Allows you to select a specific item or folder in the Domain Explorer window, and view it and its related attributes in the EDE module.
Selected Folder or Selected Item
Displays the name of the folder or the item you selected in the tree view.
Item Type
A drop-down list of the items that are associated with the selected item or folder.
EDE view
Displays an EDE View appropriate to the EDE View that you have generated in the EDE module.

The Show EDE feature works only when you have at least one EDE View to select from the EDE View field. In the event where you do not have an EDE View, you can generate an EDE View for the Item Type you want to view. For more information on how to generate an EDE View, see Define and View a Show EDE.

When running the Show EDE from the Domain Explorer open in combined view (Project plus As-Built), only the selected Item’s or Items’ Active child items are displayed. Inactive items are not listed in the grid.
