The Edit Fields and Headers floating toolbar allows you to use commands for editing the text headers and the data fields in a spec page or page section.

Opens the Table Column List pop-up window, which displays table columns not currently in use as data fields in the open page or page section. You can drag columns from this window to the open page or page section.

Column

Displays the table column names that you can add as data fields in the current spec page or page section.

Type

Displays the column data type in the database, for example, char, real, long.

Description

Displays the column description.

Table Name

Displays the name of the table or specification view that contains this column.

Displays, in the right half of the currently open page or page section, the names of the data fields that correspond to the table columns.

Delete Icon 16

Deletes a data field that you selected in the right half of the currently open page or page section.

Opens the Field or Header Position pop-up window where you can modify the selected field or header location. This pop-up window displays the X and Y location, the width, and the height values in PowerBuilder units of a data field or field header you select in the current page. You can alter data field or field header position settings by typing new values or by using the spinners.

X

Displays the distance between the left edge of the window and the left edge of the selected field or header.

Y

Displays the distance between the top edge of the window and the top edge of the selected field or header.

Width

Displays the width of the selected field or header.

Height

Displays the height of the selected field or header.

Duplicates the currently selected field.

Opens the Computed Field Expression dialog, where you can enter a valid InfoMaker value (referred to as a computed value). You can enter any data type values that comply with InfoMaker conventions. Such fields are also referred to as computed fields.

After selecting this icon, you can select the target header text location in the working area to open the Text dialog, where you type a new header text and format it.

Opens a dialog where you specify a .bmp graphics file and insert in the current spec page or page section.

Opens a dialog where you add a line in the current spec page or page section.

Displays all the hidden fields in the page or page section.
