This dialog enables you to select a number of loops and instruments, duplicate them, and copy them into a plant unit.
The multiple loop number duplication process supports the KKS naming convention.
New Loop Number
Displays the duplicated loop new number.
Selecting the button next to a New Loop Number field displays the following data columns:
Instrument selection check box - Select the check box next to a instrument so it would be duplicated together with its loop.
New Tag Number
Displays the new number of a duplicated loop instrument.
Tag Service
Displays the service of a duplicated loop instrument.
Source Tag Number
Displays the source number of a duplicated loop instrument.
Loop Service
Displays the loop service.
Instrument type ellipsis button - Opens the Select Instrument type dialog to enable a selection of an instrument type.
Source Loop Number
Displays the source loop number.
Result
Indicates loop duplication results. ü indicates a successfully duplicated loop and X indicates a failure in loop duplication.
Expand all
Selecting the check box expands all loop numbers.
Show more results
Widens the data display area to show more data.
Activity
Displays the details of the loop that is currently duplicated.
Target unit
Dynamically displays the unit to which the loop numbers will be duplicated.
Target unit ellipsis button
Select to open the Open window and select the unit to which the loop numbers will be duplicated.
View log
Opens the Duplicate Multiple Loops Log window to view the duplication process results.
When there is a problem in the loop duplication process, the OK button is used to re-run the duplication process.
