This dialog allows you to select, create, or edit a connection type that facilitates rapid cable set connections. You define a connection type that contains a pattern by which Smart Instrumentation connects wires and jumpers to a terminal strip.

The options become available for editing after you select New or Edit.

To access this dialog, select Connection Type icon 16bit in the Connection window or the Wiring Module window.

All fields become accessible for editing after clicking New or Edit. Clicking New opens the New Connection Type dialog where you configure a new connection type and then return to this dialog.

This data window contains all the jumpers of the selected cable set, showing their names and configurations. The display depends on the number of jumpers you selected when configuring a new connection type in the New Connection Type dialog.
