You use this dialog to select an instrument type for a new tag whose instrument type acronym is not unique. For instance, FE can refer to D/P Type Flow Element or a Mass Flow Sensor. Therefore, you need to select the appropriate instrument type for a new tag that has such an instrument type acronym.
The data window displays all the existing instrument types. Select the required instrument type and select OK.
