This dialog enables you to define and edit preventive maintenance activities. A PM activity is a set of PM tasks listed in the order that they have to be carried out. A PM Activity also contains additional default information, such as the required calibration values, the down/repair time, the interval, and frequency of each PM job, etc. You define the preventive maintenance activities after defining the preventive maintenance tasks and attachments. Each activity can hold a number of tasks, which are in turn associated with the defined attachments. You select the defined tasks in the sequence they are to be performed.

You open this dialog from the main window of the Maintenance module — Maintenance Activities Summary. Select Actions > Preventive Maintenance Activities.
