This dialog allows you to create a new Profibus PA segment or edit the properties of an existing Profibus PA segment.
Segment
allows you to type or edit a unique name for the segment.
Connected to DP segment
Displays the DP segment name to which the current PA segment is connected.
Segment-wide parameter profile
Allows you to select an existing segment-wide parameter for the current PA segment.
If the parameter that you need is not on the list, select 
to create a new one.
Intrinsically safe
Sets the current PA segment as intrinsically safe.
