You use this dialog to define the properties of a new connector, select its connection type, and define it as male or female. Note that when you open this dialog by right-clicking a connector, the properties are read-only.
Connector
Allows you to type a connector name.
Connection
These options allow you to define the connection of the current connector.
Connector type
Allows you to select a connector type. You can select to open a dialog where you can edit the properties and pin configuration of a connector type, or create a new connector type.
Male
Defines the connection as male.
Female
Defines the connection as female.
Cable end
Allows you to select a cable end ( End 1 or End 2) on which you want to define a connector. Note that this option is available only when adding a connector to a cable
Panel side
Allows you to select a panel side ( Left or Right) on which to add a connector. Note that this option is available only when adding a connector to a panel, an amplifier or a port in Telecom.
