Change Instrument Tag Loop Associations in the Instrument Index - Intergraph Smart Instrumentation - Help

This option shows you how to move multiple instrument tags that are associated with a specific loop number to another existing loop number. You change this association when editing an instrument tag.

1. To start the Instrument Index module, select Modules > Instrument Index .

2. Select Edit > Tag Numbers > Tag Number Properties .

3. In the Enter Tag Number dialog, to choose a single tag, type the tag number in the box.

   OR

   To choose multiple tags, select Find to open the Find Tag dialog, and then select and select the tags.

4. Select OK, to open the Tag Number Properties box.

5. Select Associate.

6. In the Find Loop dialog, filter the data grid as needed.

7. Select the loop you require in the data grid and select OK.

8. If you chose one instrument tag, on the Tag Number Properties dialog, select OK.

9. If you chose more than one instrument tag, on the Tag Number Properties dialog:

   1. Select Apply to save the changes.

   2. Select Next to find the next tag.

   3. Select Associate to associate a tag with a loop.

   4. Select OK to finish.
