The following commands are used when you select Instrument in the Process Data window. Note that some of the options are available only for a specific fluid phase and the type of the instrument selected.
Edit > Open Process Data > Instrument
Opens a process data sheet for an instrument.
Edit > Open Process Data > Line
Opens a process data sheet for a line.
Edit > Pipe/Orifice Materials
Opens a dialog to enter additional pipe/orifice materials or modify the existing ones.
Edit > Fluid Components
Opens a dialog to maintain the Fluid Components supporting table, which you need to create a Line Components table for a complex analyzer line.
Edit > Copy > From Instrument
Edit > Copy > From Line
Actions > Enable Case
Opens a dialog to select a case name for the current process data sheet (available only if you have not yet created at leas t one case for this line).
Actions > Add Case
Adds a case to the current line or tag (available only for a multi-case line or tag).
Actions > Delete Case
Deletes the active case from the current line or tag (available only for a multi- case line or tag).
Actions > Set as Governing
Sets the current process data case as the Governing case (available only if the current line has at least one case).
Actions > Save Process Data
Saves the current process data values (available only if you changed process data since the previous save).
Actions > Recalculate Properties
Recalculates process data for the current line (available only for fluid states water and steam).
Actions > Report
Generates a process data report for the current instrument.
Actions > Assign Sheet Numbering
Opens a dialog where you assign a number to the current sheet within a process data sheet report.
Options > History Options
Opens a dialog box to set process data history indication. Enabling this option disables the Compare function available in the print preview.
Options > Mark Changes
Marks the changes in the current process data sheet for the dates you selected in the History Options dialog. Enabling this option disables the Compare function available in the print preview.
Options > Highlight Process Data
Displays highlight colors in the background of fields that are mandatory for calculations (available only for instrument process data sheets). When displayed, the colors indicate the following types of mandatory fields:
-
A cyan background indicates that you must enter a value on the process data sheet.
-
A yellow background indicates that you may enter a value on the process data sheet, or you can leave it blank and enter a value for that field later on the calculation sheet.
Options > Automatic Unit Conversion
Converts engineering units of measure.
