The following are all the available commands when working with the Wiring Module window. Note that some of the commands on this toolbar are not available when the Domain Explorer is active.
Actions > Auto- Wiring
Opens a tab window where you can define a new AutoWiring routing task.
Actions > Connection Types
Opens the Connection Type dialog to define the connection type of a selected wiring item.
Actions > I/O Assignment
Opens the I/O Assignment window, where you can effect I/O assignment for a selected wiring item.
Actions > Device Panels
Opens the Device Panels window to create a new device panel or link a tag to a device panel.
Actions > Intrinsically Safe Circuit
Opens the Intrinsically Safe Circuit dialog to calculate intrinsic safety.
Actions > Intrinsic Safety Loop Calculation
Prompts you to select a loop number for which you can make an intrinsic safety calculation.
Actions > Fieldbus Tag Number browser
Opens the Fieldbus Tag Number Browser window to create and manage fieldbus segments and virtual tags, and to associate instruments with segments.
Actions > Cable Routing Options
Opens the Cable Routing Options dialog where you set and edit the preferences for cable routing.
Actions > Cable-Drum Assignment
Opens the Cable- Drum Assignment dialog where you can perform an automatic cable- drum assignment and optimization in single or batch mode.
Actions > Apply Regional Wire Colors
Allows you to copy reference wire colors that were set according to cable type dependency.
Reports
From this menu, you can generate various wiring reports in either PSR or enhanced report format.
Tables
From this menu, you can access various supporting tables that allow you to manage the contents of select lists in various windows and dialog boxes in the Wiring module.
