This dialog enables you to manage the contents of the Models select list. Wiring equipment model is one of the properties used to define wiring equipment items, such as I/O cards, I/O terminations, fieldbus bricks, safety barriers, relays, amplifiers, and so forth.
To access this dialog, in the Wiring module, select Tables > Wiring Equipment > Models or select 
beside the Model select list on any Wiring Equipment Properties dialog.
Smart Instrumentation classifies wiring equipment models according to manufacturer. You can find the data used in the other columns in the manufacturer's catalog. Note that selecting a different model does not change any other data.
Manufacturer
Allows you to select a model manufacturer. Alternatively, you can select to update the items in the Wiring Equipment Manufacturers dialog.
Find model
Finds a record in the data window. Type the item you want to find and Smart Instrumentationselects the record in the data window below.
Data Window
Displays all the available wiring equipment models. Select a value that your want to edit, or select New to add a new data row.
Wiring Equipment Model
Allows you to type a model name. The model that you enter here consequently become available in the Model list in the Wiring Equipment Properties dialog boxes.
Description
Allows you to type a brief model description if required.
Change Manufacturer
Opens a dialog to change the manufacturer with which the selected model is associated.
