This dialog allows you to create an active maintenance event record or modify properties of an existing active record. When creating a new record, you define properties for an active record you associate with the current instrument. In the Domain Explorer, active records are indicated by . A user with full Calib. & Maint. Events access rights can create and update maintenance event records. After a record is created, it is considered active until a supervisor user with full Calib. & Maint. Event Supervisor rights marks the record as completed. A supervisor user can delete obsolete completed records if needed. In the Domain Explorer, active records are indicated by . When a record is marked as completed, you can display the record properties but you cannot update them.
Tag number
Displays the instrument tag number to which the record is assigned.
Record name
Displays the name of the record, which the software automatically creates according to the preferences you set. For details of the preferences options, see Calibration and Maintenance > General (Preferences). The maximum length of the record name can be sixty characters. You can update the name of an active record by changing the maintenance event date.
Maintenance event date
Allows a user with full Calib. & Maint. Events access rights to define or modify the date of an active record according to the date format preferences.
Maintenance event description
Allows a user with full Calib. & Maint. Events access rights to define or modify the description of an active record. The description does not appear automatically on the record sheet. To display the description on the record sheet, you need to regenerate the maintenance event form page on which the record is based and add the wa_prob_desc field in the page.
Form number
When creating a new record, allows you to select a maintenance even form whose process function is the same as the process function of the source instrument.
You can set the software to display the maintenance event form number automatically by assigning the required form number to the appropriate instrument type on the Instrument Type Profile dialog.
Copy instrument type description
Select this check box to copy the Instrument Type description to a selected field in the Maintenance Event Record form. Leave the check box clear if you don't want to copy the Instrument Type description.
Target Attribute list
Select from the list of available Maintenance Event Record form fields, the field where the Instrument Type description is to be displayed.
Previous and Next
Allow you display properties of another completed record if you selected more than one completed record in the Domain Explorer.
Delete
Allows a user with full Calib. & Maint. Events access rights to delete an active record if the displayed properties belong to an active record. Allows a user with full Calib. & Maint. Event Supervisor rights to delete properties of a completed record if the displayed properties belong to a completed record.
