  1. On the Reference Explorer in the Typical Instruments folder, right-click an instrument and select Duplicate.

  2. On the Duplicate Tag Number dialog, enter the instrument tag number and select OK.

  3. If you did one of the following, the Select Instrument Type dialog opens.

    • Modified the Instrument Type segment (Component Class segment in KKS) of the tag and the new Instrument Type does not have a unique value.

    • Modified a free segment of the tag.

    • Changed the Tag Class to Telecom.

Select an instrument type, or enter a string in the Find instrument type field for a list of relevant instrument types. Select a type and select OK.

  4. On the Loop Name dialog, enter the loop name and select OK.

  5. On the Loop Number Properties dialog, enter the required data and select OK.

  6. On the Tag Number Properties dialog, enter the required data and select OK.
