If you want to edit the details that are displayed by the EDE view directly in the
Query Builder, on the EDE Actions toolbar, click Edit in Query Builder (
).
Query Builder opens with the settings and data of the current EDE. This means that if you made changes in the EDE view they are reflected in the query that opens in the Query Builder. You are not editing the original query from which the EDE view was generated. The original query remains as it was.

When you have finished editing the query, save the new query. The EDE view is regenerated to reflect the changes that you made in the query.

You will not see any changes until you save the query.

When you save the query, it overwrites the existing EDE view. The changes take effect immediately.
