The following commands are available in the Page Editor.
These commands are available on the Actions menu:
Open Page
Opens an existing page from the database.
Open File
Opens a page saved as an external .psr file.
Form List
Displays a list of forms with which the current page is associated.
Save
Saves changes you made to the page and also removes all table columns that are not used in the page, apart from system columns, custom field columns, and computed field conditions.
Save as File
Allows you to save the page as a .psr file.
Save as Page
Allows you to save the currently open page under a different name. In this way, you create a new page on the basis of the currently open page.
Tab Order
Allows you to set the sequence in which you move the cursor in the page you are editing. This way you determine which fields the cursor moves to when you press the Tab key.
Default Tab Order
Switches to the default tab order (available only if you selected Tab Order).
Edit Field and Headers
Opens the Edit Field and Headers floating toolbar and enables editing of data fields and their headers in a single- section page.
Change Process Function
Allows you to specify a different process function for the current page. This option is not available for composite pages, which can contain sections whose process functions are not identical.
Regenerate Page
Automatically checks and corrects various discrepancies that might have occurred in a page. You can only regenerate a single-section page. If the currently open page is a composite page, you can regenerate individual page sections in the Section Editor.
Regenerate Pages in Batch Mode
Automatically checks and corrects various discrepancies that might have occurred in single- section pages that pages that you selected for regeneration.
Delete Page
Allows you to delete a page that is not in use in any spec form. If the page that you delete came shipped with Smart Instrumentation, you can restore it whenever you require using the Restore Form dialog. You cannot restore a page you created on the basis of an existing page.
New Composite Page
Allows you to create a page that includes sections you defined in the Section Editor.
Add Sections
Allows you add page sections in the currently open composite spec.
Shortcut Menu Commands
The following commands are available on the shortcut menu when right-clicking Composite Page:
Add Sections
As on the Actions menu.
Remove Current Section
Removes the section that you select in the working area. If a composite spec including the selected section already exists, the software does not allow you to remove the section. You must first open such a spec and dissociate all the instruments that are assigned to the current section.
