The pulling area is the plant area where you concentrate cable drums. This procedure explains how to add a new pulling area to your <plant>. Use this procedure to edit existing pulling area data.

In the Wiring Module window, select Tables > Pulling Areas.

On the Pulling Areas dialog, do one of the following:

To create a new pulling area, select New.

To edit a pulling area, select the field that you want to edit.

To delete a pulling area, select a row and select Delete.

Type the pulling area name (required) and description in the respective fields.

Select OK.
The pulling area that you define here does not have the same functionality as the
<area> in Smart Instrumentation plant hierarchy. The pulling area is designated for cables and cable drums only.
