This dialog enables you to set a filter parameter for displaying one or more blocks in the data window of a dialog where you make block associations. After applying a filter parameter, the software displays one or more blocks in the data window and hides those blocks that do not match the parameter.

Filter operators

These options enable you to set a filter parameter for displaying specific blocks in the data window of the pertinent dialog.

Whole block name

Enables you filter blocks by the exact block name (case-sensitive). When you use this option, the software locates the target block and hides all the other blocks available in the window.

Any part of block name

Enables you to filter blocks by a string that represents any part of the target block names (case-sensitive). When you use this option, the software locates all blocks in which the specified string appears and hides all the other blocks available in the window. For example, if in the Block name field, you type control and select OK, in the data window, the software displays all the existing blocks whose names contain the word control.

Save filter

Allows you to use the same filter another time.

Block name

Allows you to filter blocks by name. When your filter operator is set to Whole block name, type the exact name of the required block, as it appears in the data window of the pertinent dialog. When your filter operator is set to All or part of block name, type a string that represents all or part of the block names that you want to display in the data window of the pertinent dialog.
