The following topic describes the basic actions as displayed in the Workflow Diagram.

Owner Operator

  1. Create a project and copy (Scope) to the project all the required items.

  2. Export the project as a .ddti file and send to the EPC.

  3. Work on the wiring tasks in the project.

  4. When ready, create a temporary project from the project with the worked on wiring.

EPC

  1. Create a new empty domain, and an empty project.

  2. Load the .ddti file supplied by the Owner Operator to the project.

  3. Work on the Process Data and Specs in the offline project.

  4. Do one or more of the following:

    • Ask for updated reference data from the Owner Operator.

    • Send an interim .ddti file to the Owner Operator for review.

    • Continue working on the Process Data and Specs.

    • On completion of all the required tasks, create a .ddti file with the finished data and return to the Owner Operator.

Owner Operator

While the EPC is working on the offline project the Owner Operator can:

  • Continue working on the wiring tasks.

  • Create an empty project and export it to a .ddti file for sending updated Reference Data.

  • Load the interim .ddti file received from the the EPC and review the changes.

When the final .ddti file is returned from the EPC:

  1. Load the contents to the temporary project using the Merge Process Data only functionality.

  2. After checking the results in the temporary project, merge the project back to the As-Built.
