When the Owner Operator receives the .ddti file from the EPC whether for review or on completion of the work the Owner Operator creates a temporary project that is a copy of the original project.

    OfflineProj_TempProj

  2. Claim the contents of Project A to the temporary project.

    OfflineProj_ClaimProjAtoTempProj

  3. In the Administration module > Project Activities dialog, import the EPC .ddti file to the temporary project.

    OffLineProject_ImportEPCBriefC

  4. In the Merge Options, select Specifications and Process Data Only.

    OfflineProj_MergOptions

  5. When the merger is complete open Smart Instrumentation to review the changes made.

SHARED Tip This can be repeated as many times as required until the work is completed to the Owner Operators satisfaction.

  6. When the Owner Operator is satisfied that all the data has been updated as required the temporary project is merged to the As-Built.
