The following procedure explains how to search for items of a specific Item Type in the Domain and Reference Explorers.

Select in the Search
field and press Enter.

From the Item Type select list, choose the item type you are searching for.

Make sure the wildcard symbol (*) is displayed in the Item Name field.

Under Search In, select the plant level hierarchy where you want the software to search.

If required, in the Item Properties create a search rule or rules from the item type attributes available to apply to your search.

To start a new search or to clear a previous search result, select New Search.
OR
To search and add the new results to an already existing search result, select Search Now.
The search results are displayed in the Results grid.

In the Results grid, select the item or items required, right-click the items and from the shortcut menu select the required action.
To select all the items in the Results grid, do one of the following:

Select one item in the Results grid and then press CTRL+A.

Select
in the top left-hand corner of the grid.
