This procedure explains how to add a connector to an amplifier. In the Smart Instrumentation Explorer, connectors are child items of amplifiers and switches.

In the Domain Explorer, right-click an amplifier to which you want to add a connector.
You can create an amplifier only under a PA cabinet. For more details, see Create an Amplifier.

On the shortcut menu, select New > Connector.

On the Connector Properties dialog, type a connector name.

Select a connector type. Select
to add new connector types to this list.

Define the connector as male or female.

Select a panel side for the connector.

Select OK.
