When applying a filter to the Cables folder, Fieldbus Home-run cables are always displayed in the results, regardless of the filter criteria selected.

For example, if I select the Item Type-Cable , and look for the Cable Name 101-FT -100, the filter, filters out any Item Type Cable that is not 101-FT-100 but still displays the Fieldbus Home-run cables because these are of a different Item Type.

FilterDefinition_Cables_CableName

If you want to filter just one item type you need to filter the other item type out, therefore you need to define two filters. For example:

The first filter: Items Type - Cable and Item Type Properties: Name + Contains + cable name.

FilterDefinition_Cables_CableName2

This displays only those cables that contain FT 100 in their name and the Fieldbus Home-run cables.

To remove the Fieldbus Home-run cables you need to apply a second filter: Items Type - Fieldbus home-run cable and Item Type Properties: Cable Class+ Is Not Equal To+ Fieldbus Home-run.

FilterDefinition_FFHRunCable_

This removes the Fieldbus Home-run cables from the display, leaving only the cables you want.
