The Import Link window commands provide easy access to the functions for mapping source and target data and other maintenance activities:
Actions > Import
Imports the data for the link.
Actions > Test
Runs a test of the import session. No actual data is imported, providing that in the [Database] section of the Intools.ini file, the following parameter setting exists: AutoCommit=0. If the setting is AutoCommit=1, trying to test an import session results in actual data import.
Actions > Stepwise Execution
Pauses after processing each table so that you can control the import process (import to a module only).
Actions > Comparison List
Opens the Import Comparison List dialog to compare source and target rows between the current and previous imports. This assists you in selecting the specific rows you want to include in the import process.
Actions > Table Alias
Defines aliases for tables in the Source pane. This option is available only if you have associated additional source data in the Link Properties dialog.
Actions > Find
Finds source columns by switching between edit mode and search mode.
Actions > Source Name
Toggles editing field for typing source string.
Actions > View Source
Allows you to view the source data for the selected file.
Actions > Save
Saves the link after defining or modifying the mapping.
Actions > Save as
Opens the Save Link As dialog to save the link under a different name after modifying the mapping.
Actions > Info
Displays import process information for the current link, including: source and target table names, platform type, and row count before and after the import process (import to table only).
Actions > View Spec Form
Allows you to view the specification form for the link (import to the Specifications module only).
Actions > Properties
Opens the Link Properties dialog, where you can modify the current link properties.
You can also right-click the toolbar to display a pop-up menu to customize the toolbar:
Toolbar
Select this option to display the or hide the main toolbar. If the main toolbar is hidden, select Toolbars from the Window menu to display it again.
Left, Top, Right, Bottom, Floating
Position the main toolbar on your screen.
Show Power Tips
Select to enable the display of the ToolTips or clear this selection to disable the ToolTips.
