When retrieving off-line instruments to Smart Instrumentation the off-line instruments must be connected to vessels through non-electric signal lines and nozzles in Smart P&ID. This enables Smart Instrumentation to recognize that instruments are connected to vessels. In this case the instrument receives its primary process data from the line connected to the vessel.
