You use this dialog to maintain and edit the supporting table for I/O card channels, which determines the contents of the Channel list in the Terminal Properties dialog and the Channel field in the I/O Assignment window.
To open this dialog, do one of the following:

On the Terminal Properties dialog, beside the Channel list, select .

In the I/O Assignment window, select Actions > Channels.

Find channel
Allows you to search for a record in the data window. As you type the name of the channel that you want to find, the software selects the record in the data window.
Data Window
Displays all the available channels. Select a value that your want to edit, or select New to add a new data row.
Channel
Allows you to type a channel number or name.
Enabled
Allows you to select Yes if this channel is enabled, No if this channel is disabled, or accept the default null value.
Address
Allows you to type a software address if necessary. For example, the address for a PLC channel is 10001.
I/O Type
Allows you to select the I/O type.
Channel Type
Allows you to select a channel type that is defined for the terminal strip type of the current I/O card. Note that you create channel types in the Channel Types supporting table, which you access from the Tables menu.
Delete
Deletes the row that you selected. Smart Instrumentation also deletes this item from lists that are based on this supporting table.
