The options in this tab take effect if you installed Smart Instrumentation as a server.
Additional browser options
Add URL string
Opens the Server dialog, where you type the server name segment of the Smart Instrumentation Server URL. The software inserts this value into the URL String field for a form browser based on the current form. In the process of XML data export, Smart Instrumentation uses this field to create a URL string for each tag that you export. This enables users of IDEAL to access Smart Instrumentation documents associated with the tag number.
Clearing this check box removes the URL string field from the upper data window.
Server
Displays the server name segment of the Smart Instrumentation Server URL, as you typed in the Server dialog.
Clear selection of all 'check box' fields on form element
Allows you to exclude all the check box fields from the form browser format. A check box field is a single-character field, represented in a spec form as a check box.
For example, the shipped .psr file sp20_page1.prs has a large number of check box fields. After you create a spec page using this .psr file and then create a form based on this page, you might want to exclude these check box fields from the form browser format. With this check box selected, after you select All under Browser Fields on the Tables tab, the software generates the browser format for the current form without any check box fields.
