The dialog displays the available drawings for the loop numbers that you selected in the Domain Explorer and enables you to access data for loop drawings that you can generate.

Using the command buttons in dialog you can also do the following:

  • Create a new loop drawing structure, edit or delete an existing one.

  • Enter and maintain drawing revisions.

  • Maintain document references you include in the loop drawing title block.

  • Make client and vendor approvals.

Document number

Displays document numbers associated with the loop drawings for the loops you selected in the Domain Explorer. If the Domain Administrator has not defined a naming convention for the loop drawing document number, the software displays the default number.

When the drawing type is multi-drawing (for CAD drawings only) or single page, you can select Properties to type a user- defined document number for a loop drawing that you require. Alternatively, it is possible to set the software to update the document numbers automatically, according to the document number naming convention when modifying properties of a particular loop number.

Description

Displays a description of the loop drawing. If on the Preferences dialog, you selected the Apply loop service to drawing description check box, the loop service appears as the default description. On the Preferences dialog, this check box appears on the Instrument Index > New Loop page. Select Properties to modify the description.

Loop Number

Displays the loop number associated with the current drawing.

Page

Displays the number of pages when the drawing type is multi-page or multi-drawing. Select Properties to modify the value. This option only applies to CAD loop drawings.
