You can issue new work requests only from the Maintenance module.

Open the Maintenance module.

Select Actions > Create Work Request
.

In the Create Work Request - Find Items dialog, select the required tag number for which you want to issue a work request and select OK.

In the Create Work Request dialog, modify the work request number if needed - the software fills in the values automatically.

Select the Typical Instrument and the Work Request Reason from the lists.

Type the required work request title.

Type the appropriate problem description if needed.

Select Save and then Close to return to the Maintenance Activities Summary.
