Press F7 to open the Domain Explorer or F8 to open the Reference Explorer.

In the Explorer tree view, expand the plant hierarchy.

From the tree view, select one or more items.

Right-click the selected items and then select Delete.
You cannot delete an item from a project if the item's parent item is inactive. For
example, you cannot delete a terminal if the terminal strip is inactive.
