This dialog enables you to create and manage dimensional groups. Dimensional groups are needed to manage default, working, and vendor dimensional data as they classify the dimensional data. Default, working, and vendor data are displayed according to the selected dimensional group. Moreover, instrument types are also associated with dimensional groups. Hence, new tag numbers whose instrument type is associated with a particular dimensional group will contain dimensional data and these records are displayed in the Working Data window.
To open this dialog, with the Dimensional Data for Piping window open, select Tables > Dimensional Groups.
