The Linearity Types dialog is the supporting table that holds linearity type values that are used to define HART instrument properties. To fill this table, you need to retrieve DeltaV definitions. For details, see Retrieve DeltaV Definitions.
The data window contains the existing linearity type definitions and their descriptions. To edit an existing linear type definition, select a row and then double-click in the field. To add a new instrument linear type definition, select New.
Find a linearity type
Allows you to find a record in the data window. Type the item you want to find and the software highlights the record in the data window.
Linearity Type
Allows you to type a linearity type. For example, Linear, Square root, Direct, Indirect, and so forth.
Description
Allows you to type a brief description if needed.
