Activity workpacks are used to progress activities that manage the progress of sets of deliverables, whereas design workpacks manage the progress of individual deliverables.
Activity workpacks are identified by their progress reporting hierarchy and include plan details. All the steps of an activity workpack must have a status return code (except for the first step). Activity workpack steps are dynamic and activity items do not have to follow them in a precise sequence (and may even move back through the steps).
Details of the properties and functionality exposed by these classes are given in the sections that follow.
