System administration provides multiple calendars that can contain multiple calendar years. As such, the system allows each configuration to have an associated calendar. Calendars are required in SmartPlant Foundation for both the Workflow and Progress modules. The workflow calendar is site-specific, and is set on the SystemOptions object. The progress calendars are configuration-specific and are set on the Progress Options objects. When you set the workflow calendar on the system options object, it is used across the system. For Progress, you can create many calendar objects. You set your scope to a particular configuration, and then create a progress options object to refer to one of the calendars. That calendar is used by any Progress tracking within that configuration (scope).
