You can see the progress of a merge command by configuring the Desktop Client to use Merge Progress Notification. With Merge Progress Notification enabled, you can merge claimed objects back into a higher configuration, such as the plant. You can monitor how the merge action is progressing by selecting the merge progress notification item in the Notification List, which displays the merge statistics in the Properties window.
A merge progress notification item is created when you run in asynchronous mode, which allows the user to continue to work on unrelated tasks in the Desktop Client during a merge action.
