You must now create tags in SmartPlant Master Tag Registry. To create tags, first you must choose the tag type for which you want to create tags. Tag types are object types, such as instrument, cable, and equipment that categorize the tags.
Now create 10 tags of equipment tag type.

To create tags in the software, click File > New > MTR > Authored Tag, and select Equipment tag type.

By default, the tag name is displayed as "TBA: To be allocated using ENS".

For the Equipment tag type, if the relationship between the Class definition and its associated ENS definition is terminated, the tag name is not displayed by default. You need to type the name for a tag manually.

In the PBS Details section, select the unit 10 from the list to create a relationship between the unit 10 and the new tag.

Set the status of the tag as Active.

In the Number to create box, specify the number of tags as 10 to create 10 equipment type tags using the properties defined on this dialog box.

In the Start at number box, specify the sequence number to use for the first tag you will create as 50.

Click Finish.
