Click File > New > Organization / Support Items > Label in the Desktop Client to open the New Label dialog box.

Type a name for the label, and optionally, a description.

Enter the label text and position and the font name, size, and style.
The label text can be configured to use properties from the object or a related object. The label text strings need to have an ampersand (&) around each string to be parsed. For example, &Obj.Name&, &Obj->Rel.Name&, and so forth. If not, a blank or empty string is returned. To include the current date and time, use the following syntax: &env.currentdate& or &env.currenttime&.

Click Finish to create the label.
