You must associate a new column set with an interface to use it. When you create a relationship between a column set and an interface definition, any object that has instantiated that interface can be displayed using that column set.
To associate a column set with an interface, find the interface definition (Find > Schema > Interface Definition), and then use a drag-and-drop operation to place the column set onto the interface definition.
