File content and data property content can be stored in a separate Full Text Retrieval (FTR) database engine. This allows users to efficiently search for items in the database by specifying single or multiple words within the content of a description, sentence, or value defined within a file.

FTR now includes OpenText® SearchServer and provides full text search support for Microsoft® Office files.

The FTR Report displays FTR indexing status and the FTR bulk indexing utility indexes sets of objects, both filtered by class definitions, classifications, and file types.
