Whether you copy an existing transmittal or a transmittal template to create a new one, you will automatically inherit several properties and relationships from the transmittal or template you are copying. For example, the form will inherit the related document types and reason for issue associated with the original transmittal being copied, but you can change that information while creating the copy. Relationships to other objects, like sections, contracts, or documents, are also copied when you copy a transmittal or template.
-
Right-click the transmittal that you want to copy, and click Copy.
-
Rename the transmittals and make any other necessary changes to the attributes for the transmittal you copied.
-
Click Next to choose a workflow to manage the transmittals life cycle, or click Finish and assign a workflow later.
