The SmartPlant Foundation Reconsolidation Utility is available to help migrate an existing shared object technology implementation to a new CDW implementation. It can also be used to help reconsolidate existing data in a CDW or shared object implementation because of any changes.

The reconsolidation operation is achieved by the SmartPlant Foundation Reconsolidation Utility software remodeling and remapping the data, removing all existing CDW or shared objects and their ComprisedOf relationships, extracting all the published documents in the order they were originally published, and reconsolidating each of them one at a time.
