If you want any user to reset other users' passwords without knowing the user's old password, find the user in the Desktop Client. On the user's Update form, select the User Maintenance check box so that that user will be able to reset other user’s passwords without having to re-enter the old password. If this check box is not checked, the administrator must know the user's old password to reset to a new password.
