Consolidation is the process of combining properties from individual line segments to form comma-separated string values for properties of the line list record. The consolidation process uses the set of properties that are configured for consolidation between line segments and line list records.
For a property to be consolidated, it must be associated with both the rollup source object and the rollup target object. A property used for consolidation should satisfy the following:
The source property is mapped to the target property, and not shared between the target object class definition and the source object class definition. This means that the source property is not on the target class definition. There are two separate properties, and the two properties are related to each other using the SPFPropertyMapsTo relationship.
Any property that is consolidated should not be included in the rollup ENS definition. A property cannot be both rolled up and consolidated.
In the delivered system, three-line segment properties are consolidated: P&ID Name (SPFLLAConPIDName), From (SPFLLAConLineFrom), and To (SPFLLAConLineTo).
