This rule is used to create a relationship between a document and a constant value. The constant value in the rule is applied to all the pdf files. You can define a DocumentConstant rule by annotating anywhere in the template file. For example:
RT=DC|DNS=Unit|Attr=U1
Here,
-
DC stands for DocumentConstant which is classified as U1(Attr).
-
DNS stands for Document Naming System that defines the document constant type.
To update the DocumentConstant rule, use the following steps:
-
Click Configure Rule to open the Editing Rule for <Rule Name> window.
-
In the Editing Rule for <Rule Name> window, select the property to store the extracted value from the Related Attribute list. For example, Unit is the related attribute.
-
Type the name of the attribute in the Value box. The extracted property is related to this attribute (U1).
