In an integrated environment, the following rules apply to publishing motor and generator tags in SPO/E Core:

To publish a motor tag that will be retrieved by Smart Electrical, you must first create the motor tag with the EEM, Motor tag classification (Central Tag Allocation Tag Types > Electrical Equipment > Electrical Load) in SPO/E Core. Similarly, you must create the generator tag with the EEGen, Generator tag classification (Central Tag Allocation Tag Types > Electrical Equipment> Off-site Power) in SPO/E Core.

To publish a motor tag that will be retrieved by Smart P&ID, you must first create the motor tag with the PEDEM, Electric motor tag classification (Central Tag Allocation Tag Types > Equipment > Process-equipment driver) in SPO/E Core. Similarly, you must create the generator tag with the PEDEG, Electric generator tag classification (Central Tag Allocation Tag Types > Equipment > Process-equipment driver) in SPO/E Core.
