Example document review and sign off workflow
A default distribution workflow (document review and sign off) is delivered with the core workflow model.
The following diagram shows the document review and sign off template.

If the step is rejected, the document revision is rejected back to the first step. To maintain the workflow complete history, the current workflow is terminated at this point, and the document revision is attached to a second revision of the workflow. Another PrepareForReview step appears in the To Do List for the original submitter, and the workflow starts again at step 1.

When the approval voting step is completed, the SignOffDocRev step automatically occurs.
The Sign off step is a special internal process step that is automatically processed by the software. It is only valid on working document revisions. The sign off step changes the status of the working document revision to current and the status of the previous current revision to superseded.
