This property is used to prevent items from being merged to the plant (or any higher configuration). For example, markups on a file at project level can be prevented from being merged to the file at plant level.
By default, this property is set to true for the following relationship definitions:

SPFFileMarkup
Only set this property to true if you are sure that you want to prevent items from
being merged. For example, if you enable this property for SPFPrimaryClassification,
any classified items such as tags or documents will become unclassified when they
are merged.
