Tag registers are generated using register documents. When you generate a tag register on a register document, a new version of the document is created, and the tag register is attached to that new version.

You can continuously monitor data required for handover by scheduling the regeneration of tag registers. Using scheduled tasks, you can have the software automatically generate tag registers at a later time, on a recurring schedule, as necessary.

  1. Click Find > MTR > Register Document.

  2. Right-click the register document and select Generate Register.

  3. Select Run now to generate the register now and click ViewLog to view the results of the register generation.

The log file is saved in the temp folder.

  4. Select Schedule to set the time at which you want to run the Generate Register command.

    • You can schedule One time, Daily or Weekly generation.

    • You can provide the days and weeks interval in the Recur every option for Daily and Weekly generation respectively.

    • For weekly generation, select one or more days of the week on which the scheduled task reoccurs.

    • Set an expiration date in the Set Expiration Date option. If a date is not set, the scheduled tasks keep running.

  5. Under Select comparison version, select the previous version of the tag register with which you want to compare the current version.

The option to select previous version is available only if Show change status column option is selected in the register definition corresponding to the selected register document.

  6. Click OK to generate the tag register for the selected register document. The tag register with 10 equipment tags with its technical details is generated.
