Problem
After several failed log on attempts, you cannot log on and receive the following error.
Account temporarily blocked due to the number of failed login attempts
Solution
SmartPlant Foundation can be configured to temporarily lock an account when a set number of failed login attempts is reached. However, after a set period of time, the account is automatically unlocked. This has been instated to protect the system from malicious password attacks. For more information on these system settings, contact your system administrator.
