You can launch SmartPlant Foundation by:

Connecting to the Web Client using a web browser from a workstation, laptop, or mobile device.

Opening the Desktop Client application from the module located in the Dashboard window on a client workstation.

Opening the Desktop Client application directly from the installed software on a client workstation.
All server configurations, applications, modules, and projects displayed are dependent
on how the administrator has configured the system project security access and permissions.
SmartPlant Foundation is installed with specific application functionality now built into the Desktop Client software from the following software:
Data Validator - An application providing a comprehensive data migration process for the import, validation, and export of new or existing data into a target system. This provides consistent quality and traceability of the data migration process.
SPO/E Core - A business suite of key work processes to help Owner Operators manage the technical complexities of the virtual plant asset relevant throughout the plant life cycle. The SPO/E Core features are contained in business packages to help to achieve production startup earlier with full compliance to laws and regulations.
The following additional software is exposed when the HxGN SDx functionality is deployed:
Data Capture - An application that provides the capability to capture, organize, link, and view unstructured and unmanaged data. You can search, navigate, and view your plant's data, and index the unstructured data to create a digital version of an existing plant.
